Gaz (A.I.D.T.A)
The founder and director of Street Angels Street dance & Graffiti Club.
I have always enjoyed dancing and have always been interested in street dance and teaching street dance.
After taking a group of children to the final of Jersey's Kids Got Talent, I decided to take this passion and turn it into a business.
In 2014 I decided to take on the intensive International Dance Teachers Association Freestyle award, after qualifying as an Associate in October, I thought I would take my training and teach children the fun and creative style of street dance.
So in January 2015 I set up Street Angels Street Dance & Graffiti Club, with the official opening date on the 18th April 2015.
I also have a fondness for art and especially Street Art, and thought this would be a great chance to also set up a Graffiti club, teaching children the fundamentals of graffiti, how to use spray cans, markers and stencils to create and express themselves with this wonderful style of art.
With both groups I hope the children will come to a happy environment and learn new skills, make new friends, become active and creative and have fun in doing so.

Street Angels
Why choose the name Street Angels you may ask?
Well last year after the success of Team A Light, some of the children at Centre Point Trust asked about making another dance group, and after a lot of name ideas and different designs being created by the children, Street Angels was a name for me that really stood out.
The reason Street Dance is named that is because it evolved outside of dance studios and was generally done in any available space, such as the streets, parks, playgrounds etc. so i thought that tied in brilliantly with the name. And an Angel can be known as supernatural or a superhuman being and I believe this links in really well with the ability to dance, teaching people that it is something anyone can do and learn and makes you feel like you can achieve anything if you believe in yourself.

Street Dance & Graffiti Club premisis
Based at Centre Point Trust La Pouquelaye, we recently raised some money to create our dedicated dance studio, including a new dance floor, mirrors, a new sound system and even disco lights and lasers to create a real fun and exciting place for the children to learn new dance moves and routines.
As well as that we also have some amazing outside space in which the graffiti club can get their hands on to help create some art masterpieces.

Street Dance & Graffiti Club
Jersey's first Street Dance & Graffiti Club, offering children a fun and exciting place to come and learn some exciting dance moves and routines, dance and graffiti equally are both amazing ways of people expressing themselves.
Graffiti and Street Dance have both been connected through history, looking back into the 60's/70's both started to really take off with, breakin' on street's and in any open spaces. And people tagging or bombing walls and covering subway trains in spray paint.
You can sign up for either club, or sign up for both if you wish.
For more information on both clubs please click the links below.

Special thank you
I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Jane Moy and Centre Point Trust, for helping me turn this dream into a reality. It has been an exciting journey getting everything ready to start these new classes, and they wouldn't have happened without the support and help from Jane and Centre Point Trust, THANK YOU!
