Centre Point Trust has two dedicated nurseries and the largest playcare provision on the Island. Centre Point Trust is a registered charity in Jersey and is a non-profit making organisation. We have been working in the local community for 30 years and our purpose is to provide quality childcare and a safe place for children to play and spend their leisure time.
Both Green Street and Le Hurel Nursery are open Monday-Friday, 7.30am-6.00pm, 52 weeks of the year and caters for children aged 2-5 years. We are closed on all Public Bank Holidays.
Early morning sessions are held in our play care building which is based at La Pouquelaye. We open at 7.00am and we provide breakfast before taking the children to school on the buses. All school ages are mixed during breakfast sessions. We also offer an after school club we have two units the Receptions years 1 & 2 unit and the Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 unit, e pick up children from school either by foot or by bus. Each bus has an allocated bus driver and a member of staff escort. We bring the children back to CPT and provide them with a snack and then they are free to play until 6pm with a range of activities available such as a cinema room, Disco room, a playground designed by the children of Centre Point, cooking activities, art and craft activities and much more. We believe in free play and we aim to give the children as much freedom as possibly to enable them to express themselves and really enjoy themselves at Centre point.
We also offer holiday care and as well has having the option of taking part in all the activities on offer, we also take the children on trips this includes trips such as Archery, Banana boat rides, Aerial trekking, Splat master, kayaking, abseiling, durrell wildlife, the various parks and beaches on the island and much much more.
